Hwanung's Garb
Shang-Ti vowed to protect Penglai's ruler if they ever proved worthy. So far... only one has.
During the creation of Penglai, Hwanung, a mortal, and one of Shang-Ti's first creations, helped Shang-Ti shape civilization and teach laws to their creation. After the War of the Gods, Shang-Ti recluded themself from the rest of the pantheon. They decided they wanted to separate and protect Penglai. To separate, they broke the island continent off from the rest of the map, and to protect, they created Taniwah, the great sea serpent.
Hwanung now found himself the first mortal ruler in Penglai. So Shang-Ti created Hwanung's Garb. He imbued it with magical protections from any targeted attack. It was intended to protect the ruler of Penglai if he was deemed worthy. After Hwanung died of natural causes, the garb has sat in the Temple of Shang-Ti awaiting a worthy ruler ever since. The monks of Shang-Ti highly protected knowledge of the Garb. It is believed that only a ruler worthy of wearing it would ever come to know of its existence. So far, all rulers have fallen short.
The one attuned to Hwanung's Garb is given an AC of 100, but automatically fails any saving throws.
